BALAJI SUR 08-0300: This pump is ideally suited for meeting the drinking water needs of a small community, educational institution and places where water cannot to be lifted from more than 3 meters depth. The operating voltage is 36 volts at 300 watts but can be modified based on site conditions.
BALAJI SUR 15-0900: This pump is ideally suited for lifting water from open wells, canals, rivers etc. for irrigation and other similar applications. The pump operates on 36 volts and 900 watts but can be modified based on site conditions.
BALAJI SUR 20-1800: This pump is used where the water discharge is high like irrigating large tracts of land. Suitable for 1800 watts Solar array, but can be modified for any array capacities between 1400 - 1800 watts at 60 volts.
Information required for Custom built pumps:
In addition to the above mentioned Solar water pumps, we can also develop Solar water pumping systems according to the specific conditions of the site and Array configurations.
The following information is needed for the Custom-built Systems:
- Depth from which the water is to be lifted.
- Height to which the water is to be delivered.
- Minimum discharge required in terms of liters per day or liters per hour.
- Whether the Pump would operate continuously or intermittently for a short duration.
- Array rating in terms of rated Power, voltage and Current.
The Motors used in the above models are Permanent Magnet Direct Current motors (PMDC) and are available in geared as well as un-geared versions. The advantages of PMDC are:
- Higher reliability: Permanent magnets replace windings and do not require any external supply. Magnets do not loose their magnetism during normal operation. Hence failure is totally eliminated. Electronic circuitry of the drive also becomes simpler and more reliable.
- More efficient: Absence of windings and special 'low - loss' materials ensure higher efficiency. Motor heating is substantially lower than shunt wound motors.
- Compact & light weight: BALAJI PMDC motors are sleek in appearance and enhance the appeal of the total system.
- Totally enclosed construction: The Pumps are available in totally enclosed construction (with or without cooling by a fan) for use in dusty, humid and corrosive environment, thus increasing the durability substantially.
