SALIENT FEATURES:
- In addition to all the salient features of India Mark II, this model incorporates a longer and heavier handle with a “T” Bar arrangement and counter weights to balance the weight of the connecting rods at different depths. This heavier handle can be avoided when using FGP connecting rods.
- This model is recommended for use upto 90 m depth. The number of counter weights can be varied depending upon the depth of installation as shown in the table below.
| Depth Range | m Weight |
| 40 to 60 | One weight |
| 61 to 70 | Two weight |
| 71 to 80 | Three weight |
| 81 to 90 | Four weight |
- 100 mm stroke length of the handle provides a water discharge of 15 liters per minute per 40 strokes with an installation depth range of the cylinder between 45 m to 90 m below ground level.
- Suitable for preventive maintenance with simple tools by users.
- The standard pump is supplied with a telescopic stand.
- Stands with square or circular foot flanges are also available.
- Special tools and standard tools for installation, masonry tools and shuttering for platform construction are available. Also, fishing tools, village level maintenance tools and spare parts kits for two or five years’ normal operation can be supplied.
DUTY: Suitable for use in bore wells having static water level ranging from 50 meters. to 85 meters.
STROKE LENGTH: 100±3 mm.
DISCHARGE: 14 liters per minute of 40 strokes.
CONSTRUCTION
- HEAD ASSEMBLY: side plate, back plate, front end and bottom end plates are made from 4 mm thick MS plates. The bottom flange is made from 6 mm thick MS Plates.
- HANDLE: Made from 40 mm Square MS Bar. Length 1320 mm fitted with counter weights and ‘T’ Bar.
- CHAIN ASSEMBLY: 7 pitch chain assembly welded with M12 internal threaded coupler.
- FRONT COVER: Made from 2 mm CR Sheet.
- WATER CHAMBER: The top and bottom flanges are made from 6 mm thick MS plate, riser pipe holder is the same as in the case of the standard pump. Water chamber pipe used is of 150 mm NB medium class.
- STAND: Stand flange is made from 6 mm thick MS plate. The angles are as per standard pumps. Pipes used are medium class 150 mm.
- CONNECTING ROD: There are several options lsuch as mild steel (electro-galvanized), stainless steel and GFRP. GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) donnecting rods are made exclusively by us as a result of our dedicated research and development.
- CYLINDER: 63.5 mm ID cast iron cylinder with brass liner with cast iron caps of 32 mm thread. Plunger with three nitride rubber washers with stainless steel plunger rod. Additional foot valve can be fitted to the bottom cap of the cylinder. The cylinder is also available in µPVC, which again is an innovative concept by BIAC’s R&D team. This µPVC cylinder imparts the same function as that of a cast iron cylinder but is also light weight thereby providing ease of handling and enhancing the life of the riser pipes.
RISER PIPE: 32 mm GI Pipe of Medium Class Solid Couplings should be used for coupling of one pipe with the other. OR 32 mm µPVC Pipes of heavy duty construction with SS Coupling arrangement has been exclusively developed by BAIC. Apart from this GFRP Pipes are also developed by BAIC which have all the advantages of GI Pipes are yet light weight.
